Marquise de La Salle
  H: 73, L: 58 cm
Musée Leblanc-Duvernoy, Auxerre

Attributed to Alexis Grimou (1680-1740) or one of his students, this canvas was part of the portrait gallery of the family of the last Marquess de Louvois, who bequeathed it to the Auxerre Museum, under the name that we have retained, even though several portraits of the same young girl are known, without any link to this ancestor of the Louvois.
