Set in a 17th century building, the museum of the Ursulines develops regional archeology and ethnography collections. The Fine Arts section is particularly rich in paintings from the 16th to the 20th century.

LIBRARY
The museum's library has a large collection of works of art resulting from exchanges between museums and acquisitions. It is open 10am - 12 noon and 2pm - 5pm by appointment. |

BOOKSHOP AND BOUTIQUE
There is a shop at the museum's entrance. Publications of the Mâcon museums are available, as well as a range of items about Burgundy. The museums also have a beautiful chess set found in a motte from the year 1000 in Loisy, as well as moulds of the most beautiful Gallic-Roman pieces. |
