Figlio del pittore Kikoine e pittore lui stesso, Jacques Yankel offre la sua eccezionale collezione di quadri naïf e popolari. Il poetico collegio del XVII secolo accoglie le sue opere, il raro gabinetto di curiosità di Bresse e gli sguardi di importanti pittori verso mondi esotici (R. Nivelt e H. Farey).
Gli artisti contemporanei "a margine" e i pittori che hanno soggiornato nell'area, quali Kikoine, Kremègne, etc., depositano qui le proprie opere.

The collections bring together the old museum collections, including paleontology and numismatics (a bequest from Bresse, 1873). In 1987 and 1988 a donation by Yankel and managed by the Association of the Friends of the Museum of Naive Art of Noyers enhanced the core works with about one hundred pieces of naive and popular art (Bauchant, Bombois, Vivin and others).
