The Denon Museum is made up of two main sections: the fine arts section has on display, apart from a room of graphic works mainly of Denon, some remarkable French, Italian, Flemish and Dutch paintings from the 16th to 19th centuries. The archeological collections illustrate man's presence in the Chalon region 100,000 years ago.
