It offers guided tours of the workshops and makes use of many educational tools: documents (play booklets, tour information sheets etc) and learning kits distributed by the regional Centre for educational documentation (on the topics of bread, childhood, stone cutting, food and others). A traveling exhibition, "Brown bread, white bread" can also be borrowed free of charge. |
Library and Documentation Centre
Open to anyone with a specific enquiry about the topics of our collections (rural Burgundy in the 19th century, the businesses and industry of Dijon and the Côte d'Or, trades of yesteryear etc). The documentary collection (works, periodicals, files, photographs etc) may only be looked up on site and is shared by the Museum of Religious Art and the Perrin de Puycousin Museum of Burgundy Life. Since 2003 the library's catalogue has been computerised, and can be searched on the website of the Dijon Municipal Library, under "Cultural institutions" (www.bm-dijon.fr). |
