In particular it offers the public works of the painter Georges Rouault, of the goldsmith Jean Després, and of the sculptor Pierre Vigoureux.

Beaune, Musée du Vin de Bourgogne
Created in 1938, the museum was installed in the former Palace of the Dukes of Burgundy (14th-18th centuries), following the works by André Lagrange and Georges Henri Rivière, a musicologist and ethnologist. Cluny, Musée d'art et d'archéologie, Palais Jean de Bourbon
An independent residential building, the palace built by the Abbot Jean de Bourbon in the second half of the 15th century, close to the main entrance, occupies a special position above the site of the abbey of Cluny. It was spared the vandalism of the Revolution and was then purchased by a resident of Cluny, Jean-Baptiste Ochier. It assumed its present role as museum following a gift by the widow of a Cluny doctor in 1864. Two years later the new museum opened its doors. |

Le Creusot, Musée de l'homme et de l'industrie
Created at the end of 1973, the Le Creusot-Montceau Eco-Museum's mission is to catalogue, study and enhance the heritage of the Le Creusot-Montceau municipality, marked since the end of the 18th century by the development of major industrial activity, including the steel industry, mining, ceramics, glassworks and transportation. Its main facility is in Le Creusot, at the Chateau of Glass, where can be found the Museum of Man and Industry. |
